Mr. Parafinczuk graduated Cum Laude and was in the top 15% of his class at Nova Southeastern University Law School. He began trying cases in law school for the Broward State Attorney's Office as a Supreme Court of Florida Certified Legal Intern. Since joining Koch & Trushin, Mr. Parafinczuk has tried a substantial number of cases to verdict in federal and state courts.  In a complex commercial case, he obtained his first jury verdict in excess of $1 million dollars by the age of 30.

Mr. Parafinczuk focuses 100% of his practice on litigation, including complex commercial litigation, class actions, products liability, and employment litigation. His trial practice includes wrongful death defense, professional liability defense, criminal defense, workers compensation defense, and commercial general liability defense. Mr. Parafinczuk's practice also includes appellate litigation, in which he authors appellate briefs and argues appeals in state and federal courts.

Mr. Parafinczuk also devotes a portion of his practice to Pro Bono Criminal Defense. He is also a Big Brother with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Organization, which is devoted to mentoring children.
